Cancellation Policy.

You may cancel a signed engagement before any engineering work has started by sending written notice to your project lead. Any deposit paid will be refunded in full, less third-party fees already incurred on your behalf (for example, permit application fees).

If you cancel after we have started work on a phase, you are responsible for fees earned through the date written notice is received, calculated on a percent-complete basis. We will deliver work in progress and any completed deliverables.

If you need to pause a project, please notify your project lead in writing. Active files are held for up to 90 days at no additional cost. Resuming after that window may require an updated proposal to reflect current schedule, code revisions, and rates.

We may withdraw from an engagement if information necessary to complete the work cannot be obtained, if invoices remain unpaid past 30 days, or if continuing would create a conflict of interest or professional concern. In that case we will deliver work performed through the withdrawal date.

All cancellation notices should be sent by email to your project lead with a copy to team@apexoengineering.com. The cancellation date is the date the email is received.
